Inspired by astonishing 32,000 year-old paintings recently discovered in Southern France, Multi-Juno award winner and Steinway Artist, David Braid brings home his internationally acclaimed concert program, “Chauvet” on a coast-to-coast Canadian tour. Joining Braid, and making their first appearance in Canada is the EpoqueString Quartet, the Czech Republic’s top proponent of an “old-world” string quartet meeting “new-world” contemporary music.
The concert includes compositions from Braid’s 12th recording, Flow, as well as a composition from the 2016 film, “Born to Be Blue” which Braid arranged and produced most of the music.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qS6mDnsujX8%28Trailer%29
This concert program aims to surprise and thrill by “getting under the skin” of audiences through highly sensual compositions driven by narrative and passion that aims to make original art music accessible to the mainstream

Recorded at Czech National TV in Prague and mixed in the United States by Multi-Grammy award winning engineer, Dixon Van Winkle, it will be released in 12” Vinyl LP and Compact Disc.
