Joining Braid, and making their first appearance in Canada is the EpoqueString Quartet, the Czech Republic’s top proponent of an “old-world” string quartet meeting “new-world” contemporary music. The cover art features the stunning oil painting Qi by Sophia Gao, great-great granddaughter of Xu Yefen, one of “The Eight Grandmasters” of Qing Dynasty art.
